01 / THE PROBLEM

What needed to work.

A friend wanted to delete old Weibo posts in batches, but Weibo did not offer a quick way to do it. The delete action was buried behind several interactions—roughly four clicks—and frequent interface changes made the relevant elements difficult to locate.

02 / MY CONTRIBUTION

Where I took ownership.

  • Built a React / Vite extension popup for selecting posts and showing operation progress.
  • Implemented content-script DOM interaction and messaging to process selected posts sequentially.
  • Worked on locating nested menu actions and confirmation controls as Weibo’s page structure changed.

03 / TECHNICAL APPROACH

Decisions in context.

Follow the page interaction step by step

The content script opens each post’s menu, locates the deletion action and handles confirmation, with pauses between steps for the page to respond.

04 / DELIVERY & REFLECTION

What I can share.
